Almost There
After a few frustrating hours I'm still struggling with this guy. I'm pretty happy with how the fissure turned out but getting the background elements to look good has been hellish. Things that still need work: The fire and surrounding glow, maybe more on the clouds, the motherfucking grass. Its also a lot harder to do atmospheric perspective (similar to the landscape featured in post #1) when you're doing a night scene... with a fire in the background.

Hmm I like the feel of your clouds here. It works better with the mood, I find. I did, however, prefer what you did with the fire glow in the previous post.

Thanks about the fissure. I know the fire was better previously. I've sort of just been experimenting with different ways of treating it I thought this would work better than what I had for some reason. I have to keep working on it.
