This Station is Now Operational

Hey there. For those of you who are familiar with any of my previous work I have done a couple of pieces relating to awkward moments in public washrooms. I have just started a 6-12 part series of mylars on the topic. So I'll be really busy with that over the next couple of weeks so I developments may be few and far between. Here are a couple of updates on some works in progress. I've only had a chance to work for about an hour today but we'll see where I'm at this weekend.

Here is the beginnings on the colour version of my self portrait. Its really rough so far. The wyrm I'm riding on will later feature scale patterning and I myself will look less... shitty later. The second drawing is the the drawing I showed you guys yesterday, its got background now. Albiet a really unfinished background but background nonetheless. I'll be fixing up those odd white bits outlining the beast itself in the near future but that's for a later time.

I'm also currently in the works on some drawings for Tiger Assault Pageant. They're a really overly progressive band that's so progressive that most of it is just noises. Anyway, I'll be posting some progress shots on those soon enough.

  2. Muted tones, so I guess I shouldn't really be surprised. Thank you, though, very much.

  3. yo si! everything's looking awesome. i am mad jealous of your technological resources and abilities. only one critique: your foot in the self portrait, the right one... the perspective is off. it's a shame because the other one is expertly done. keep up the good work ma man!

  5. Nice. Looking forward to seeing both of them completed.

I really like the feel of the wyrm one.

  6. Thanks Arashi, always appreciated. I was going for a dreamy feel with my and the Wyrm, less like it was pulling me around and more like I was drifting through reality with it. I hope that was the feel you got, but evoking anything positive is encouraging for me.

  7. Yes that was definitely the feel I got. So you've achieved your goal!

I have a problem giving feels to my drawings. They all seem very static.

  8. Great work! I'd love to work more in digital, but it's very intimidating.

  9. It is that Element. Every time I go to conceptart.org and take a look at what Massive Black Inc. is doing I have to reassess my life.
